- How does the strategy actually work?
- Zareum trades statistical arbitrage on three cointegrated pairs — XAU/XAG, EUR/GBP, and AUD/NZD. When two historically linked instruments drift apart, it takes offsetting positions and profits as they converge. It trades the relationship between them, not the direction of any single market.
- Who holds my money?
- You do. Your funds stay in your own account at your own broker. Zareum never holds, receives, or withdraws your money — we only place trades on the account you connect.
- What access does Zareum have to my account?
- Trade execution only. The connection lets our system place and manage the strategy's trades; it cannot withdraw funds or move money, and you can revoke it at any time.
- Is my money safe? What are the risks?
- Trading carries risk and you can lose money — no strategy removes that. What we can promise is structural: your capital never leaves your own broker account, and our access is execution-only. Past and backtested results don't guarantee future performance.
- Self-host or managed — what's the difference?
- Either way you keep your own broker account. Self-host means you run the strategy yourself, at no extra cost. Managed means we run the infrastructure for you for an additional USD 100 a year. See the pricing page for the breakdown.
- Which brokers can I use?
- Pepperstone and AXI, on MetaTrader 5, at launch. More to follow.
- What's the minimum and maximum?
- USD 1,000 to USD 100,000. The practical floor depends on your broker's minimum lot size; we confirm fit when you onboard.
- How are trades copied to my account?
- Our master system publishes each trade, and your account mirrors it automatically, scaled to the risk tier you choose (0.5x, 1x, or 2x). You see the same positions the strategy takes.
- How and when am I charged?
- A flat USD 100 a year (plus USD 100 if you choose managed hosting), and a performance fee of 50% of your monthly profit, charged only while your account is above its starting balance. Full detail on the pricing page.
- Can I pause or cancel?
- Anytime. Cancelling stops the strategy on your account and revokes our access immediately — no lock-in, no notice period.
- Do you guarantee returns? What's the track record?
- No — we can't guarantee returns. Our backtested results are simulated, and our live track record is still short, so we won't annualize it or dress it up. We publish verified live results and let them speak for themselves as the sample grows.
